A Message to All FC Barcelona Fans

So, the season ends. It was a season that every cule will want to erase from their memories. But the world won’t forget. Our rivals won’t let this go for many more years to come. This humiliation is ours, and we have to accept it. With the end of the season, it is safe to say that the golden days of Football Club Barcelona marks an end too.

After the humiliation at Lisbon, I was in shock for the last few days. I mean, I did not expect much from the team, given the quality of the football we were delivering. But losing 8-2? Like seriously! 8-2?? No one expected this, not even our arc rivals.

I don’t want to talk about this match anymore. They outclassed us in every aspect of the game. A team where the players lost their mind after conceding 3 goals is destined to get thrashed like this.

This match is no accident. In fact this was coming for many years and almost anyone who followed the club saw this coming. But the only people that are responsible did not anticipate this – the Barca board. Or did they not? Is it really possible that the people who run the whole club did not know what’s going on within the club?

For the past few years the club is being destroyed bit by bit. And the irony is, this heinous work is being done by none other than our own board! The coach can be blamed for his playing style, or the players can be blamed for not giving their best on the pitch, but our real problem is not our coach or the players, our real problem lies within the management. And to all the Barca fans out their, I ask you to keep your hopes down until the current board is changed, until Bartomeu steps back.

I may go on and on about the mischiefs of the board. But if you’re a Barcelona fan, I’m sure you already know about these. All I want to tell you is that, please lower your expectation from the club, like much lower.

Be prepared for defeat after defeat in the coming years, for the club’s downfall has started. We need to be patient, like the Liverpool fans were. In the coming years, Barcelona will surely face a drought in trophies. And sad to say, the club will also lose many fans in the meantime.
